(NEWS NOW) – Temperatures began to rise, and with this heat many children want to enjoy themselves in a pool. However, distracting from the sight of your children for a few seconds could be fatal.

It is important to always keep watch over children and infants because in a matter of seconds they could be under water and suffer drastic consequences. During the summer of 2017, more than 160 children in the country drowned, according to federal government statistics, while this past Sunday almost happens to a 3-year-old boy here in Las Vegas.

The procedure of cardiopulmonary resuscitation for adults is different from that of children. In the case of babies, only two fingers are used and the force must be less than that used in an adult.
